"4,709 of its 4,710 BTC were pledged to Coinbase Credit under a covered-call strategy. The company only held one Bitcoin directly. Under the agreement, Coinbase Credit could reuse, commingle, pledge, or sell the collateral. Because GameStop no longer directly controlled the pledged Bitcoin, it removed the assets from its books and recorded a current digital-asset receivable representing equivalent Bitcoin owed back to the company."
